Delicious meal, great atmosphere There were not too many dining options in Cunnamulla on a Wednesday night, but I’m glad we chose this one. The atmosphere was relaxed & chatty; the publican was a terrific conversationalist; his wife was an attentive hostess; and the food was to die for!!! Asian pork belly on a bed of apple slaw = tastebud explosion!The publican and his wife have owned the Hotel for 18 months, and are slowly restoring it to its former glory. Travellers have two accommodation options: free parking for your caravans out the back, or book into rooms upstairs. But, whatever you do in Cunnamulla during the day, come back to the hotel for dinner - you’ll be glad you did.

Lovely historic hotel in the middle of an outback town. I was told by the people who work there that the it is over 100 years old! People who work there are very polite and helpful. You can make phone bookings and pay when you arrive. To our surprise, it was closed when we arrived in the afternoon, but then we found out that the hotel opened at 5 pm on that day. We had a steak for dinner there and it was delicious
